Meet the families walking 100km for research
This spring, forty families are walking the coast path together to fund the next round of Discovery Grants.
Over one weekend in May, forty families will walk 100 kilometres of coastline — some pushing wheelchairs, some carrying toddlers, all walking for the same reason.
“Research feels abstract until you're the one waiting for it,” says one of the organisers. “Walking together turns the waiting into something we can do side by side.” The group has already passed its fundraising target, with every pound going directly to early-stage Discovery Grants.
